(1) One of the securest ways to ship an iPod is to double wrap it in bubble wrap and then take packing tape and wrap it once around the width and once around the lenth of the iPod.
(2) Next put the bubble-wrapped iPod into a small sturdy box where it fits nice and snug. (You can easily make a box from sturdy cardboard and seal the sides with packing tape). Then seal the small box shut with the tape.
(3) The third step is to put another layer of bubble wrap around the box and insert the small box into a padded mailer or into another small but slightly larger box.
(4) Do not forget to include the $34.99 diagnostic fee inside the box which most times covers total labor.
(4) Label your address stickers correctly with the address given below. Insure your iPod when shipping to be on the safe side.
(5) Do Not forget return postage. Dallas Computer Repair will return your iPod in the container that you shipped with fresh labels.Include return shipping in the form of stamps; the exact same amount as it took to get to the below repair facility. Also include return insurance in the same amount that was insured to get it to iPod Repairs.
Repairing the iPod
(1) The moment we receive the iPod PC Virus Doctors will immediately email you to notify that the unit has been received and then a determination and diagnosis will follow to determine which repair steps need to be taken.
(2) Then PC Virus Doctors will determine what hardware is needed and the estimated cost to complete the job. The owner will then be notified and asked what decision would like to be made to restore the iPod.
(3) The iPod will be restored or not and immediatly shipped back to the owner.
